ok, here is what i see... Everyone is getting all worked up over Obama and thinking he is the best things since sliced bread. Try looking up his voting record (he's no better than McCain about switching sides or taking money). And more importantly look at what he is saying. Notice how he doesn't get specific about any of his "change" plans? He's out to win votes, not fix anything. If he gets elected you will not see many changes folks. Sorry. Maybe the government will get bigger, but i really don't see a man trying to take back anything for the people. I love it drivens! There will however be two really big and fantastic changes! NO MORE BUSH!!! AND NO MORE REPUBLICANS!!!  Fanta, I hate to disappoint you, but Republicans will always be with us. I don't hate all Republicans. I'm related to some, and I love them even if they're misinformed. But, maybe, someday, some of them will get out of the matrix and into the real world. What an epiphany that would be! I am hopeful. |

oh my........ are we thinking that it is the presidents JOB to take care of EVERY THING. to blame ONE person for such a list that was that long??? Shouldnt we or other people be held some what accountable for some of that??? how much responsability should a president actually have anyhow?? My son, who is not political like I am, and I were talking about all of this over the weekend. His statement right off was "I do not care who the president is, it is CONGRESS that really runs everything. The president cannot do anything unless congress passes it." We did talk about the presidential veto power, but President Bush has only used this power a few times. Jaime stated loud and clear the truth! Now, if an everyday, common lay person such as my son knows this, what is up with some of these 'posters' (that claim to be so intellectual and knowledgeable) in these forums that try to blame President Bush for everything and anything? Didnt John mcain abandon his first wife when she became paraplegic or something like that? She was in a car accident and had serious injuries. Since she wasn't as sexy to McCain after this, he decided to cheat on her with his future sugar mama.

The McCains seem to have forgotten to pay taxes on their houses for the last 4 years. What do you think would happen to you if you let your home taxes slide for 4 years?
