Depression support - part 4
Oh, be careful, Amber. I know that kind of thing hurts. Pass some tater tots this way.
This makes twice that my son has said, "You know dad; You can come see us." That is like an open invitation. It gives me another reason to get my old van fixed so I can do some do some traveling.

Depression support - part 4
That is a hard thing to accept. We just had an inservice on it payday. My son and daughter just left to go back home. My daughter brought her boyfriend. Didn't get to see the grand daughter. Son is still going through the divorce so she is with her mom. I took them all out to dinner at the buffet. Daughter spent a lot of time going through pictures and organizing them in folders. Pictures of my son when they were little. My son spent some time outside with his chainsaw. I lost some pictures because they took some with them. My daughter likes cleaning houses and putting collectibles like pictures and the like into scrap books. She said she would be coming back, again. She told me not to tell my son I gave her twenty dollars to help them get back home. I had my friend, Robin take pictures of us at her house. I took my daughter to where I work and showed the picture of my grand daughter on my locker at work. The time just went too fast because we were enjoying each others' company. She wanted to get my son home soon though so that he could take his epilepsy pills. I miss them already.

Ice Storm
I was able to get a lot of the limbs burned but there are still those large limbs just hanging from the trees. My son is bringing his chainsaw in the morning. I am looking forward to being with my son, daughter and grand daughter, tomorrow.

Thanks, Amber. At tonight's AA meeting we got to read from our Daily Reflections book and it helped. April 3rd entry's was about dealing with your humanity.
I felt good because I didn't stuff the anger like I used to do and just blow up. Yeah, like you said I was able to control it.

Help Meet
I am not sure if you were off topic, Laura. As PropheticServant points out in the next verses we do find a help meet for Adam.
Gen 2:21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; Gen 2:22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. Gen 2:23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Gen 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. Gen 2:25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. From reading the prior verses and these verses we find that Adam chose Woman instead of an animal for a help meet. Between verses 2:22 and 2;25 Woman is changed to wife. It begs the question of who married Adam to Eve. Of course, she doesn't even have a name, yet. It looks to me in 2:23 that is Adam's vows. By verse 2:24 the help meet is wife and not just Woman. Makes you wonder why wife is not capitalized. Makes me wonder why they weren't ashamed. Could it be because they were married?

I like the idea of baby steps. I was told if you have trouble with meeting your goals to break the goals down into smaller goals towards the bigger goal. Just like baby steps.

Depression support - part 4
Glad that is working out for you, Amber. I lost my temper last night at work. The nurse told me if I ever need help while I am in a room to use the call light to get another aide just like a resident is suppose to do if the resident is in a room and needs an aide. It is considered okay to ask for help this way. So I am in a room at the end of the hall where a resident is in isolation. As you know when you go into a room where a resident is in isolation you have to glove, gown and mask up. It was last wet check so I asked the resident if she needed changing. This resident is a former nurse of the facility when the nursing home was a hospital before it became just a nursing home. So I ask her and she says I have to brush my teeth first. So I am asking her where her tooth brush is and she says she doesn't know. So I ask her where her emesis basin is and she says she doesn't know. She I search and eventually find both. I have told by my charge nurse to orientate this new aide I am in the room with at the time and to show her the ropes and how to chart the asl. So she brushes her teeth and I ask her when she is done if she is ready to be changed and she says I need to be pulled up in the bed first. So we pull her up in the bed and I check her and she needs to be changed. So I am go to get a brief to change her with and guess what there isn't any. I am starting to get really pissed at this point but remembering what my charge nurse told me to do I turn on the call light. Only nobody comes to my rescue and my patience and tolerance is really low by now. So I take off the gloves, gown and mask and go storming out to get a packet of briefs and return to the new oriented aide in training and change the resident. And the new aide asks the resident if she needs anything else and of course she needs a drink of water and for us to turn the room light off. And we ask if there is anything else that she needs and she says she wants her blanket pulled up. So finally we get out of there and I come to the nurses station and I say I am glad I remember to use the fning call light so I could get help and the nurse just leaves laughing.
But I get a lot of apologies and I had to apologize myself but I did get my point across.

Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
I had to pay for the pcv valve. The Positive Crankcase Ventilation valve, or PCV valve, is a one-way valve that ensures continual evacuation of gases from inside a gasoline internal combustion engine's crankcase. I thought I had looked all over the engine that I could looking down from opening up the hood of the car. And there it was and as the saying goes, "If it had been a snake it would have bit me." It was like in the spiritual I could hear it knocking. It wasn't hid at all.

I am glad things are going smoother for you, Amber. My daughter has moved a lot closer to where I am. And she wants to see me. That makes me happy. My daughter, son and grand daughter are coming to see me this Saturday. I was telling my mom about it and she wants them to go see her, too. Mom lives three miles away from me. The nurse even slipped a not under our boss's door that I need the day off.

Good idea. I wish I had a basement. I don't even have a cellar. that is another thing that bugs me. I think I will check with the hardware store to see if they have some kind of fogger.

Wow. That bug makes my bug Pholcus phalangioides look small.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pholcus_phalangioides I am wondering how does one get rid of these cellar spiders. |

I guess that is why they call them bugs. From a friend I found out what these fake spiders are. I mean they don't even have the common decency to be a real spider.
Arachnids but not spiders. Now whats up with that? They got this fancy name called Pholcidae. Well, you know what that doesn't impress me in the slightest. I still squash them every chance I get. I don't care if they are Harvestmen. To me they are just bugs. I don't care how many legs they got. My friend called them cellar spiders. I find them aggravating because they keep making these silly little webs. I don't care if they call me a home wrecker. I have stands all I can stands from them and I can't stand them any more.

Another one for me was the Banana Splits. I used to find that show entertaining. I am not sure why now.

It Could Be Worse
At a flower shop a wealthy man man came in demanding an explanation for the card he received which said rest in peace. The clerk apologized for the mix up but said it could be worse because another complaint was received by a local cemetery client with a card saying congratulations on your new location.
