(Cackles in delight) You realize, you make me sound like the witch in Hansel and Gretel, right? Deep curtsy of appreciation though we both know it's just my shell.

Egg Salad
The smooth facade Of the hardened shell Enabling all to slide off Until In the solitude Of your kitchen, You crack and crumble. Peeling away the shell Revealing skin Pockmarked and naked. You huddle in your bowl of regret. Emotions churning and ripping As you slice and dice through the replay of your day. Adding salt to the wounds And peppering your soul With thoughts of should haves. This won’t do. You have to hold it together. Mayonnaise your malaise. Sandwiched between Home cooked bouts of belief In the egg salad of life. |

Yup, redhead, I used that one too. That's a marshmallow based fondant and it is super sweet (literally). The step by step instructions are awesome and very do-able. Wal-Mart has fondant mix too in their Wilton isle in the craft section if you don't want to mess with melting marshmallows. If you enjoyed playdough as a kid, you'll love playing with fondant!

Okay punkin head, this was a roller coaster ride of sorts complete with squeals and peals and holding breath moments of, "Egad, what next?". The books usually are better than the movies with a few exceptions, but alas you have the imagination and heart so do play on!

Just Rambling.
Keep rambling and reading and rambling and reading your very own rambles will help sort through the brambles and then you'll get that "AhhhHAAAAA!" moment. Then the "well that kinda sucks" moment and then you'll keep diggin and muckin around and figure out what is best for you to do, you'll get there!

May your greedy tongue
Sip of desire’s dew. Creating muscular heat Pleading Entreating your chosen flower to open further. Subtle winds Bend and urge her towards your touch Accelerating your heart and Holding you adrift With the speed of hummingbird wings. No thought is necessary. No sight required As you follow the blind rhythm of your blood Coursing your senses direction To heights of the twinkling stars. or some such thang

Ooo, pk, like the life jacket comparison. Now I can't stop picturing a very bulky upper body old style life jacket in orange with a straight jacket inability for removal without help...................

Can anyone?
These are all wonderful expressions and sentiments, yet I can't help wondering why the request? If you were expressing yourself in art or music would it mean less? These are your forms of expression, listen to the music you feel and let the color of your emotion flow. What? Would that be too intense to be revealed in public, would you not be able to talk through the emotion (I can't that's one reason I write) - fine. Write it - find someone else to accompany you with the words your music speaks for you to you about your mom through you. Don't pull back in shock, you can do this.
