What did you try? Clearing your cache or using another browser or both?

If you have another browser installed (like Firefox, etc.), try using another browser also to see if that helps.

What do you mean that you can't get into the diary? Can you explain in detail exactly what you are trying to do, and what happens when you try to do it?

Are you still having this issue? If so, how are you accessing the internet - at work? through AOL or some other ISP? on your phone? And can you tell me what browser and operating system you are using?
Also, is anyone else experiencing this problem? |

Hi everyone,
We need to take the site down tonight for some site maintenance. Maintenance will begin at 10PM and should be finished by 11PM. The site will be down and inaccessible during this period. Sorry for the inconvenience. If we can finish sooner, we'll get the site back up as soon as we can. Thanks for your patience, and hope you are all enjoying the site. Mike |

BBcodes
QUOTE: this is a wonderful feature - thank you is there any way there could be a link in the reply box whereby we can select the colour/size/bold/etc. option automatically, rather than having to type it manually? or is it there and i'm missing something? We're planning on adding something that will allow that, but for now, you have to type it in manually. |

We disabled images in mail. There is too much potential for abuse by the wrong types of members.

why don't my pictures work? Sorry Becca, they are case sensitive right now so you need to use lower-case. We will change them to make them case-insensitive shortly... |

QUOTE: That takes too much work to insert all of those thingys just to make it cute and pretty. Thanx Mike! Keep up the good work. P.S. You should keep a list next to the Smiley's for our added convenience.
We are looking at possibly adding a little text editor where, like Microsoft Word or something, you could just click the Bold button and the text you have highlighted would be bolded. But these new codes will at least give you some formatting options for now until we can get the text editor created. |

BBcodes
Hi everyone,
I'm pleased to announce that we've added a bunch of new bbcode formatting options to the forums. You can now change the color and font size of your text. You can also insert images into your posts, and make links active with the url tag. Here's a list of the bbcodes we currently support: Bold face: [b]Bolded text[/b] makes Bolded text Italic: [i]Italicized text[/i] makes Italicized text Underline: [u]Underlined text[/u] makes Underlined text Monospaced text: [code]Monospaced text[/code] makes Monospaced text Insert image: [img]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/7/7c/Go-home.svg/100px-Go-home.svg.png[/img] makes Link: [url]http://www.google.com[/url] makes http://www.google.com Colored text: [color=red]Red[/color] makes Red, most standard color names will work. Hex color codes like color=#123456 are also supported. Font size: [size=big]Big text[/size] makes Big text. Options are small or big, or a number from 8 to 20 for the font size in pixels. IMPORTANT NOTE ON NEW CODES We hope you will enjoy these new formatting features. However, we ask you to follow the following guidelines: URL links that are being used to promote other websites will be removed immediately. No advertising or self-promotion is allowed on the mingle2 forums, and posters who violate this rule will be suspended or banned. IMG links that link to controversial/disturbing/offensive images will also be removed immediately and the poster will be suspended or banned. No nudity, obscene gestures, suggestive photos, or images of illegal activities are allowed. Images must be PG-13, NOT rated R or X. We will be very strict on this policy, and violators will be treated harshly. Please use the new codes IN MODERATION. Users who abuse the new codes by using them excessively in an annoying posting style will be warned and could lose their privileges to use the codes or post on the forums at all. We'll be somewhat lenient on this, but we just don't want people abusing the codes to make very difficult to read/annoying posts. Please be polite in your use of the codes. Most of the new codes will work in your mail messages as well. However, the URL and IMG codes will NOT work in mail messages. This is because we are concerned that spammers and other bad users will abuse the codes, and that they will be more difficult for us to police in mail messages. The other new codes, like font size and color, will work fine. Thanks everyone! Hope you are all enjoying the site. |

When you deactivate your profile, it will eventually be removed by Google. It just takes some time for that process to occur, because Google has to visit our site and see that your profile has been deactivated, and that process can take a while.
I have no idea what the adult friend finders page is - it obviously is not something we did or encouraged. Most likely, it's just someone who has the same username as you on that site but is unrelated to you. It seems like the other heathergobucks is in Bird City, Kansas, so it's clearly not you. The forums are public and can be viewed by anyone. This is the case with the vast majority of forums on the internet. On almost every forum, you can read the forum without being a member, but you can't post until you join. This is the case with mingle2 as well. You shouldn't post anything you aren't comfortable with anyone being able to read. I would advise that for any forum on the internet that you participate on. Hope that helps clarify things. |

From who - can you be specific? Please send to me over mail - don't post that info on the forums.

Also, any chance that the messages were more than 30 days old? Messages older than 30 days old get deleted automatically every night.
If not, can you send either Charles or I a message with some more information about the emails you remember, i.e. approximately when you received them, and who they were from? We'll try to figure out what happened to them. Thanks, Mike |

Is Mingle2 the only site that is running slowly for you?
Also, can you describe in more detail where the site stops loading? For example, if you click on the Community link at the top, does any part of the page start to load? If so, where does it stop on the page before it hangs? |
