My ex and I used to be like that and we got tired of each other. I think it's completely healthy to hang out and everything, but not all the time. I live in tourist town where everything is expensive too but you just have to give and take a little to do the things that may be expensive. I would atleast try to go out with him one night a week and go out seperately with the girls one night a week, you don't have to have a lot of money.
