when my first son was about four or five
I stopped on way home from visiting my grandma on one of these
nature trails on side of road kind of places
Grandma said there was a river and a little waterfall down there
so I though I would be a good Mommy and take my kiddo to see it..


I swear to Gawd he took two steps maybe three out of the car..I was still throwing my purse in back seat..keys in hand

and his little head disappears from view
and I hear this " ayyyyyyyy" and down he goes kabaamo on the ground..
and just starts bawling

so thinking he is hurt I rush out to help him to his feet and he is covered
and I mean COVERED in dog doo all the way up the back of his pants and his shirt...oooooooo man..

sigh..so he is crying. I am fuming over someone who did not bother to pick up after their dog on the sidewalk..strip him down to his underwear and throw his clothes in the trunk and told him to get back in car, wrapped him up in his blankie he carried everywhere and drove the hour and a half home

hahhaha..come to think of it
we never did go back there to see that waterfall

Just be careful around the neighbor dog's 'presents' Sweetie.
