This thread is eons old. But I am with Pacificstar. Being very independant does not kill that desire to be lead & just trust when trust has been established. I think a strong woman needs a strong, wise man, hence many women balk at the idea of being led.

Have to agree with Slowhand here, even though I personally think no government rule is without fault, nor without their own atrocities. (exception being New Zealand of course).

There is nothing new under the sun. Religious fanatics will always be around twisting godliness & holiness into what it is not. In the 80's I watched a warning documentary on the rise & threat of Islam extremists, today we are seeing the reality.
