A few plants, reptiles and fish are also capable of reproducing in this manner.

What does the term “son of God” mean? Is God bore a son in the flesh through Mary?
This is not what Christians believe.
The expression “son of God” used in the Bible has caused a lot of confusion and has been misunderstood.
The term "Son of God" does not mean that Jesus is the Son of God in the human sense of a father and son. God is not the father of Jesus. God did not marry the Virgin Mary or any other woman to give birth to Christ together.
God never took a partner for himself. Christians have never believed in such things because they are not in the Bible and therefore do not fall within the Christian faith.
Jesus is unique in being the full manifestation of God in human form (John 1:1, 14). Jesus is not just a prophet who was given the power of God to perform miracles. Jesus is greater than any man or prophet.
Before the incarnation of Jesus in his birth from the Virgin Mary, he existed from eternity with God, and himself was the only God of the universe (John 1:1, 2). Jesus is called “the Word of God,” and the Word of God is eternal and cannot be separated from the essence of God Himself.
The title "Son of God" indicates the identity of Jesus, not his biological origin.
Jesus as the Son of God represents God to humanity. Whatever the Father owns, the Son also owns. Everything that the father has belongs to the son as well. Jesus says he came in the name of God (John 5:43). In this sense, Jesus is the Son of God because he represents God to us.

In the Quran, Jesus' name is Issa‎, son of Maryam – Mary – and he is called by other attributes, such as: “worshiper of God,” which is an attribute that characterizes God’s prophets and messengers. Jesus said about himself, “I am the worshiper of God” when he uttered a child. God said: "He (Jesus) was only a worshiper whom We favored and We made him an example to the Children of Israel."

God said:

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
In Matthew 28:16-20, Jesus conveys the great commission to his disciples. He says that they have been given authority to disciple others in the name of Christ, and that he expects them to go out and do so. In fact, he even tells them where they should do so.
In Islam: The disciples said to Jesus: “Oh, Spirit of God, who are we sitting with then?” He said: “Whom his vision reminds you in God, his logic increase your knowledge and his deed make you wish for the hereafter?”
The prophets and messengers forbade sitting with the rich man who were overshadowed by the wealthy.
Religious texts emphasized to believers the importance of sitting with scholars because they increase a person’s knowledge, improve his manners, and purify him. And the encouragement to sit with the wise, because sitting with them completes the mind.
In the Quran it is forbidden to sit with the people of falsehood of every kind when they engage in their falsehood.
The Prophet Muhammad also recommended sitting with wise and righteous man; because sitting with them is life for minds, enlightenment for hearts, and healing for souls. Also sitting with the poor; in order for a person to feel the value of what God has blessed him with, and to be more thankful to Him.

The Arabs worshiped idols and were governed by ancient tribal customs and traditions. God sent the Prophet Muhammad, who is known to them as the Truthful and Trustworthy. Nevertheless, few of them believed and most of them did not, and among them was Abu Lahab, the uncle of the Prophet.
The tribes of Quraish used various means to prevent the Messenger’s call from spreading in the Arabian Peninsula. They used to say about the Prophet that he was a madman, a magician, a priest, a poet. They said that Quran was the legends of the ancients, a lie that was fabricated by him, and those who helped him.
They harmed the Prophet, and tortured those entering Islam. Just as the Jews were the enemies of the Prophet.
God said: "As for the believers who do good works and believe in what is sent down to Muhammad which is the truth from their Lord He will acquit them of their sins and repair their condition. This is because the unbelievers follow falsehood while the believers follow the truth from their Lord. As such God sets forth for people their examples. Muhammad is not except a Messenger; Messengers have passed away before him. If he dies or is killed, will you turn about on your heels? And he who turns on his heels will not harm God a thing. God will recompense the thankful."

After the death of the Prophet Muhammad on 632 AD, Abu Bakr was sworn in as the caliph. The movement of apostasy from Islam occurred because the old tribal customs remained rooted in the hearts of the tribes residing on the outskirts of the peninsula, and they were stronger than the bond of religion. Therefore, they rejected Islam as a political system, and satisfied with prayer. These tribes considered zakat – it is a religious duty (tax) for all Muslims who meet the necessary criteria of wealth to help the needy – a tribute to be abolished. But they did not return to paganism. Wars took place against the separatist tribes, so most of their leaders returned to the Islamic State, some of them were killed in the battle. With the end of the wars, the entire Arabian Peninsula was unified.
God said: " Say: 'We believe in God and in what is sent down to us and in that which was sent down to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob and the tribes, and in that which was given to (Prophets) Moses and Jesus, and the Prophets from their Lord. We do not differentiate between any of them. To Him we are submitters."

Jesus in the Koran named Issa. His name was mentioned 25 times, while Mohammed's name 4 times.
God honored Mary among all women of the world.
Gabriel told Mary she would give birth to Jesus, and that he would be a prophet. He told her that Jesus will speak as a child in the cradle.
After forty days, she carried her son Jesus and Mary returned to the people.
His birth was miracle, for Mary was virgin without the interference of man, and got pregnant by order of God.
To support his mission, God gave him the ability to do many miracles like reviving the dead.

Muslims believe that Jesus will return to Earth when approaching the Day of Resurrection to achieve justice and defeat the Antichrist.
