That is not normal, kecksie, and our IM seems to be working as it should. So, if you made a change to your setup recently, I would consider undoing it or adjusting it a bit.

We're definitely open to adjustments, but that was not the word that tripped the filter. It was a word that is ordinarily profane.

Reasonable? Definitely. I'd say roughly 99.999% of messages go unread by us. We only investigate when there is a good chance that Mingle2's policies are being violated. This doesn't mean that the filters - in place to protect our member base from scammers and the like - are not automatically filtering out inappropriate messages.

We do not get involved in such a way, Aranaya. You may want to ask the other member if he/she meant that the software presented your profile to him/her.

It's now possible to use the forums from the mobile site and the ad layouts are designed with mobile devices in mind. As for trying to use only the full site, mobile devices always default back to the mobile one after an hour. We might change this in the future and give members the choice to always use the full site, but it's not an option at this time.

If you're not logged out and you share a computer, yes. Although I haven't been able to duplicate the issue on my own, you may want to log out a few times until it takes (or you could delete your Mingle2 cookies).

We can't upload your photos for you, prateikshah, but make sure that your photos are in the .gif, .jpg, or .bmp format.

Also, be sure your pictures do not have too many pixels. When it comes to uploading images to a Mingle2 account, the actual file size is almost unlimited. The number of pixels in the image, however, is limited to 10 million. In other words, the product of width*length must not exceed 10000000.

There is no way to prevent other members from viewing your profile, khecknitout. You can select what users can contact you, though, using your Mail filters:

I suspect that you are either referring to the Who's Online Search (which is not sortable) or your Mutual Match candidates. With respect to Mutual Match, members outside of your area can enter the candidate pool by clicking your 'Match with Him' button.

Your photo restrictions are not permanent, Funroorkee, as we only do that in cases of bans. In any event, mail one of us administrators to find out when the suspensions ends.
