It brings me great concerns.

I am not from the USA. But if i was then i will never bother to vote for any president in the future to come. It is a complete waste of
time. Before elections they promise you "heaven". Once they start
it is the same old song.. Rich get richer.( Because tax cuts for
the rich is the best way. Or they would leave the country.. right ?)
b.s scare tactics ) The middle class and poor get less privacy. Because
the politicians claim it is for their own good. In fighting crime
and terrorism. The gap between the poor and rich becomes bigger.
The 2 party system is a 1 party. Because of the lobbying and compromises they have to make. In prison there are convicts that work in call centers for the government. But they are not eligable to vote themselves. Since they got incarcerated. Sometimes even for not paying their parking tickets.

It used to be normal to have a steak at your plate and 2 cars in the
garage. Nowadays people have to get multiple jobs to get by.
And i honestly do not see any progress comming after Obama is out
of Office. Corporate spokesmen "rule" the USA. People can only watch
and see.

Yes i apologise. I do not know about your life. I should not have said it was boring.
But when you mean "us" then i still disagree with your statement.

OMG ! It is not just about your ( boring ) life alone. There are more things at stake here. It also includes spying on people that have
more impact in society then just you. Corporations get spied on, Politicians get spied on. I would say that is a big unfair advantage if you want to be a world player.
If they will spy on terrorists then it would be "ok " Provided that those terrorists where scrutinized before as "terrorists" But who controls this spying aparatus? Off course they would not tell us who they are tracking. So how would you know that it is not being used for the wrong purposes. There is corruption everywhere.

Or...watch FOX news a lot.

Fear is the message. So people won't mind if their privacy will be taken away.
They will gladly give up their rights when they are affraid. And take for granted that they live in a Police state.
USA industry is all about war, imprisonment and oil. If there
is no interest to the USA government to participate in a war. Then
it will just be a matter of time and it will be a forgotten war on tv.
There are plenty of dictators left. That never get mentioned in the
media.

I think that people that i have met with these kind of
ideas are very few. But..i can imagine that if i would hear
assumptions from a "Tea Party" person. That i would say
that this person is ethnocentristic. Or when i would watch
the movie "Armageddon" again...yuck !
When i hear that Americans
still use a different metric system. Then i would not blame that
on being "American ethnocentristics". Because we do that in
Europe as well. In Germany they say "Der see" When they mean
"Lake" And "Das meer" means the sea. And that sounds to me
as a Dutch person as the opposite. But in Holland we name numbers
in the opposite way too. seventy five we would call that five and
seventy. By the way.. speaking of the world map. People would have
a different opinion about that too.

I think in addition to this. That people act on their primal instincts when it comes to sex. Instead of rationality
For a man it is physically not a problem to have sex everytime he chooses to. Because the sperms in a man are always active and ready. So therefore a man does not have to be so selective with finding a partner and creating offspring.
A woman however only is fertile at a certain period a month. And therefore she has to be more selective in finding the right partner for her. Because she has a limited amount of eggs.
I also believe that people choose their partner of their choice on the basic instincts that they need to be as "healthy looking" as possible. Because it will increase the chance for getting a healthy offspring.
So therefore i think that people always look for healthy and feminine/male features out of basic and primal instincts. Like for example a woman with big boobs. ( Because she can feed the offspring ) The man wil fool himselve with this sometimes. Because a woman with implants can not always give mother milk to her child. But the mere size of the breasts make the man instinctively think she is more capable then other women.
Or a woman will look for a man capable of defending her offspring. As in physique.
I am not implying that this goes for every man/female. Because there are differences in "likes". But basically the primal instinct wins it from rational thinking. In general.
