Hop into my time machine and take a little spin...where are you when you get out?

Though every era had turbulence, there are so many things I would loved to have witnessed in history...

I think I'll run over to the 1400's in England to peek in on some festivities of the Renaissance. Take in a joust or two even.

Dare I toss my hankie at some handsome young knight?

I may have lived in the 1400's. Is that when they beheaded people with those head chopping machines? Guillotines?

Anyway. I think I was beheaded. It doesn't hurt much. It is very fast actually. But you continue being conscious and can even see out of your eyes after your head rolls down that metal plank. Men, women, even children gather to watch the executions. They asked me if I had any last words.

I said "Let's just get this over with."

I had always been terrified of guillotines all of my life and I could not understand this fear. It was not like I had ever seen any. But if I ever saw a picture of one or saw one on television I would get a queezy feeling in the pit of my stomach. eeewww.

Then I had that dream of getting my head chopped off and I understood the fear.

I don't think I would want to go back to that time. People would throw their chamber pots out the windows and the streets of the city was smelly with urine and poop. eeewwww.

No1sLove, you hit a topic with me that I could type about all night. First it would be early times in Ireland. I have an old Irish last name and would like to go back to when we got our Coat Of Arms so I could see all my ancestors. Check out how they all lived, go to some taverns of course.
That would be the first stop.

Lets do that then. I would go way into the future to the new pristine earth. It is such a beautiful paradise. Not many people there, but you can visit in spirit and take any body you want to experience to include a human body.
