why people get so nervous about meeting someone in person??? What is the worst that can happen??? You don't like each other and then you move on.
I'n not really nervous, but just hesistant because I've had some bad dates. The last one, however, was REALLY bad.

You have expectations of things going well and look to far in the future and get scared that it could end in a second if you don't hit it off.

Do you meet people online a lot?
Do you find that the people you meet online are worse than those in person initially?

I'm nervous over all it's just me and who I am because I have an anxiety disorder.

But I am the same person online as I am off line, I have no reason to be some one I am not, although it would be nice to be some one I am not but since that isn't the case I'm just me.

As far as meeting anybody I have never met any body online, but when the time is right then who knows, if that one ever comes my way that is.

I wouldn't say I meet A LOT of people online - maybe 15 in the last year and a half. They're not necessarily worse than ones I meet in person. When you chat on the phone or email, you don't really get that first impression vibe like in person. But even meeting in person doesn't guarantee they're not going to be a bad date. Make sense?
