Would you date a bisexual?

Maybe it's not such a big deal. In fact, some men would find a bisexual
woman more attractive. However, I do not know if I am going to go out
with a guy who also dates another guy, either previously or
concurrently.

i would definitely date a bisexual woman because i find that to be very
attractive.

Honestly, I wouldn't date a guy who was currently pursuing other guys.
If he was attracted to other guys, but didn't do anything about it, that
would be no problem.

Not I; Could I handle her leaving me for another woman? Basically saying
that I wasn't good enough; or I was bad enough to turn her to women.

I don't like the implications the break up would have; hence I do not
get involved.

Absolutley, would. My wife is, and is nice to have that broader
awareness. Plus if she has a girl friend I might get to play too. LOL
or if my girl friend is bi she and my wife might play also. So some
benifits there.

that is sick that how you catches dieses you and her. but anyways I
would not date a bisexulal because of the fact I only like woman and a
woman that like both is more likely to cheat and even if you give it
good and more she still want the dick so more like no I would not date a
bi. there not mature yet.

there always seems to be this double-edged bias.

for a man, it's usually ok to date a bisexual woman.

but he'd think twice abt dating a bisexual man.

i think there's definitely a heterosexual bias...

you're goddamn straight I'd date a bisexual woman.. I had to think about
that for all of, oh, i dont know, 2 seconds..

I cant speak to the stigma of the other side, but I know for nearly any
heterosexual guy, two women together is just plain hot.. I just dont
think the reverse is true from a women's perspective though (maybe it is
though, i dont know).. doesnt make either one more right or wrong than
the other, its just a matter of perspective. I dont really think it s a
bias, its just a difference in how the two sexes think.

reminds me of a mad tv skit I saw called brokeback mountain 2, where it
was two lesbians going up to brokeback mountain.. she comes back home,
her husband tells her he suspects cheating is taking place, and she
explains whats been going on.. after which he proceeds to do a little
jig around the living room :)tagline was "This time, its ok to be gay."

ok pab from that perspective. If you were in a committed relationship
and you came home to your girl in bed with another girl that wouldnt
bother you? Lets say you were married to her and she never told you she
was cheating..does it not matter if its a woman?

btw im not bi for all those that PMed me!! LOL Sorry to ruin the
fantasy!

lol.. how cruel to get everyones hopes up like that ruewen.. heh, just
kidding..

Anyways, my statement is based on the assumption that It was a known
fact that the person I was dating was Bi from the onset of the
relationship..

Were that not the case, that would be a difficult question to answer..
My gut tells me that it would still feel like cheating by the simple
fact that it was being done without my knowledge.. that to me would be
what makes something cheating, irrelevant of rather it were male or
female.

However, at the same time, I know there would be part of my mind that
would immediately start exploring the possibilites of the situation.. I
mean, there would be nothing I could do about that.. the temptation to
make manifest the fantasy would be very strong.. I guess the best answer
I could give would be that their would be a lot of talking in our future
to find out where everything stands.

And if you asked you to join in would you still have that talk? :P

patb's photo

hehe, yeah, there would have to be a talk after that just to make sure I
understood where everything stands, otherwise next thing you know the
bomb drops and shes left you for another girl (which, I know people who
this has happened to, actually).. id rather have some advance warning if
possible on that one :)

ruewen,

What is it that made you ask this question ??

I studied psyc for 6 yrs and one of my female teachers raised a question
like this and it got the girls so pissed off they were ready to kick us
guys asses!

After 5 days of this out of control discussion, outside of class I asked
the teacher if she had an experience like what she described to the
class and she turned red. Question answered!

Guys are hunters and if he can get 2 of something he'll go for it.

You opened this with,"maybe it's not such a big deal" and stated some
guys would find a bi woman more attractive. Then ended that a gay guy
isn't in your cards.

Are you Bi cureious curious ? And Or did you have a bad experience with
a gay guy ?

There are women who like to be with and have sex with gay guys too! I
goes both ways. I don't see the women on this site commenting on the
end of your first question.

My last paragraph ... IT (not I) goes both ways.... LOL ... I'm not Bi

I asked because i'm trying to get people involved in conversations on
the forum board. I think its a nice way to get to know people.

Who knows, you might learn something you have in common with someone and
take it a step further. At the very least it will get us talking and
maybe build up a nice community online to chat with. :)
