Feelings are not a choice, but love is! Real love, unconditional love, is not feelings-driven. The divorce rate is as high as it is because people go by their feelings instead of decisions to be unselfish. Real love and commitment are decision-driven.
What are your thoughts on this?????? I feel that this statement is the most accurate in describing love. Everyday you make decisions in your relationship with others. Some for better, some for the worse. We choose to cheat on our spouses, etc... maybe if we choose to stay commited and maintain that unconditional love things would be better and our lives richer. |

So the fear of following your true want can be why some people are afraid of committment? somewhat like the fear of being successful??? if one does not listen to their fears as equal perfect input, how can successful decisions ever be made..... if fear is feared, it can never be utilized as one of the greatest wisdoms ignored......... not one decision ever made that was regretted fear did not warn......... fear also block many doors, so the only way to make a whole logical decision is to accept all potential pitfalls the mind says, and then if "want" is still there, then gooooooooo. no wisdom ignore ANY input of the mind......... |
