i know this sounds harsh and that there are many people out there that are going to disaggree, but i'll tell you to look at what happens in nature.
animals go through mating rituals. usually the males chase and dance and fight other males to prove themselves worthy for the females. this is all a game and it's played throughout nature. we are all animals and it doesn't matter how evolved we are, we still play games.

I've learned that I need to be a lot more patient, and not so strict in what I want in the relationship.
