Met this guy on a different dating site. We made plans get together and go to the movies. I had a day from hell to begin with. Got woken up at 3am by my dad telling me my mom was deathly ill and needed to go to the hospital. I spent all day running between the house and the hospital. My mom knew I had a date that night, and begged me to go on it after I told her I was going to cancel. I went on the date anyway. I ended up having to pay for my own ticket and try to find the guy in the theater. He flirted with me during the movie and then that's it. Afterword he ditched me and told me he would talk to me later. He waited 3 days to tell me why he ditched me, only what he told me was a lie. I knew his plans for that weekend. He later fessed up and told me what really went down.

Met up for lunch, he corrected me several times throughout the course of the meal (little snide remarks about how I cut my food, placing my napkin correctly in my lap, drinking with a straw, etc), part way through he made a comment about "why do women pick at their food on a date", at which point I make the comment "just because my butt is the size of Texas doesn't mean I have to eat half of it". I was told I was less than lady like... *snort* go figure. frustrated

I was trying to give him the benefit of maybe being nervous (yep, I'm dense sometimes). Later in the conversation he indicated that he didn't feel I was "good relationship material" because I was entirely too independent and he didn't feel he could "deal with my less than respectful nature". slaphead

As I later found out, he wants a "beck and call" kind of gal that will bend to his every whim.... yeah, I don't think so, Sparky! rofl

He showed up in the cleanest clothes he could dig out of his clothes hamper. It was when he first smiled I discovered he had no teeth...well...actually he had teeth....they were in his shirt pocket. huh Before getting into his car I had to clean fast food bags with half eaten food in them off the seat. He ate like it was going to be last meal for a while and wiped his mouth on his shirt sleeve. On the way home, his car car started acting up. noway I thought God!, Just let this heap get me home and him outta my driveway and down the road too far to turn back if he breaks down.

Drove to meet him by his house. He asked me to drive. We went for a drink. He got out of the car and was 4 inches shorter than expected. I have an issue wearing heels with short guys. Now the good stuff. He insisted on holding my hand into a sports bar. After an hour, he asked me to pick his son up from work. We did. Then he asked me to go to the grocery store to buy diapers and formula for his daughters baby. Ok...no problem. Had to hold my hand in the store. I was starved so I picked up a fruit bowl for 8 bucks and proceeded to check out. He went first and paid for his stuff with his FOOD STAMPS and asked me if I wanted him to pay for mine. NO Way was I going to take the food out of his kids mouths. He had 4 grown adults, 1 minor and 1 newborn living with him. We got back to his place and I couldnt walk through the hallway without kicking the garbage, food and junk to make a path. He opened his fridge, pulled out a 2 litre pop, took a drink from the bottle and handed the bottle to me...OMG...You couldnt see the countertops because there was so much debris everywhere. Dried up noodles and peas all over the stove, mildew growing on the fridge.

The kids are there and they dont do anything but sit around and create a worse mess...that poor baby!!

Finally, he said he had to pick up his other son from work. I raised my hand to volunteer and he was glad. I couldnt wait to find a reason to leave. Picked his son up at Burger King. He offered to get me a free burger, I declined...Finally I had to leave...

There was more, but I didnt have time to give the details, like when he said at the end of the night before I left, "Hey, if I move in with you, we could share the expenses" I thought, my god, what the hell would I do with his tribe!

All I can say is, the sports bar was packed with all kinds of hot guys. Ratio was 10-1 in favor of women and I had to walk in with this doofis.......I spent the 2 hours watching the Bears game and listening to him about the loss of his job and his wife who left him for another WOMAN.............Yep.....I think Mom had the right idea...laugh
