Hmmmmm, I do wonder and I'm just thinking out loud here, perhaps this too stems from a "language barrier" of sorts. A perception barrier that cannot transcend the diversion of the written word. Unfortunately, you more than likely will spend more time defining your own statements than getting an answer to your question.

Oh and P.S. like any other groups, people believing in creationism are not all alike. Some are very open minded, intelligent, and what I would consider enlightened/evolved.

you honestly think the idea of an being that no body can prove is real decided to one day to make man is evolved. How evolved of a thought process is that really. That type of though process leads me to believe that the Tooth fairy is going to give me a quarter for a tooth under my pillow or Santa Clause is going to give me presents for being on the nice list. Heck if people still thought like that we will still all be afraid that Zeus or Odin are going strike us down with lightning bolts.

Instead of asking a scientific question to general populations of people whom are quite unlikely to be scientists, post your question in any number of scientific journals. You will find, with little effort, that the majority of scientists throughout the world have deduced that periodic creation is still occurring. They might also respond to your slur against them as being the least evolved.
