Soul mates....They are so precious and rare to find. Some people search their whole lives and never find one. Others are lucky to find one, maybe two in their lives.
I'm not talking of just true love relationships, that are happy, healthy and very close that can last several years. We all can have several of those and really be “in love” with our mate.
To me a true "soul mate” is someone who you can connect with on an almost incomprehensible level. Every moment spent with them is electrifying. No matter how mundane or boring something is, like driving in rush hour traffic to get somewhere ..it is special when your soul mate is with you! Making love takes on a whole new meaning with your soul mate. The kisses, hugs and holding become incredible passionate embraces, where you can feel the hearts beating in sync, your bodies entangle and merge and become as one. The softness of her skin against you hypnotizes your mind and exhilarates your body. As you touch between her thighs, a rush of excitement streams through her and runs right up through you, like it was the first time ever for the both of you, even though it’s about the thousandth time you’ve made love to her. There is no “boring” sex...you know what I’m talking about...just wham bam ...because your both feeling horny...or maybe just one of you...but there is no real spark...just same old sex...LOL. Well for some reason...that never happens with your soul mate. Every time is exciting and new, like exploring a deserted tropical island. In seven years I can’t think of one time we “just had sex”.
Well many years have passed since then. I have been in many “relationships” and have yet to find my next soul mate. So I guess I’ll just have to keep searching for my red wine....not too young, aged enough to have good character, clean fresh taste, delightful aroma and smooth and soft with no bitter after taste.
Hmmmmmm....maybe when I find that wine....I’ll find my soul mate too.
