I have a very demanding job and I sometimes feel like I let my son down, though he would never tell me so. I missed his track meet three days ago becaue of work. I felt horrible about it but he didn't care. So to me it is tough, but he seems to understand. |

Yes, I have no job Hahahahahaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!! The funniest part is that is quite true for me... Balance...being present and available, when your kids require you. Being capable of keeping one's mind on the task at hand, at work... again fully present and available. I wonder how many truly have that.... |

i have been fortunate enough to have a great deal of flexibility in my work so i have been able to spend lots of time with my kids and enjoy it immensely. i was always precocious.
