I used to smoke. I had women in my life that also smoked. I quit smoking 12 years agoe. I havent had a relationship since either. I guess im not an expert. lol. My dad died of lung cncer at 55 he smoked 3 packs a day

I dated a man who smoked. I started too. We got married. Course, he then died of lung cancer at the age of 37, 12 yrs later. So the advice to join them and start isn't good advice, IMHO.



Lung cancer is for the most part and hereditary disease.

True, but it for the most part will have to run in your family for you to get it!


While there are certain genetic factors that may or may not make one susceptible to contracting lung cancer, heredity simply isn't the over-riding factor in the least.

There are a great many cases of people with NO family history of lung cancer coming down and dying from the illness. There are also cases of people who've smoked for almost all of their adult lives who go on to live cancer-free DESPITE smoking as much as they have.

But the over-riding causes of lung cancer are chemical in nature.
