i bought a webcam hoping i would be able to use it on msn but when i connect my camera it dosnt seem the msn regonises that i have conneted the camera, however the camera works on my computer as i can take pictures with it or even watch myself on the camera, which is not very useful lol. just wondering if anyone would know how i could get my msn to let me use the camera? as i have totally no idea how to as the software i was told to ddownload had no effect.

First off, make sure you have the drivers for said webcam installed. Most of them will work without drivers installed, but you'd probably be better off loading them in anyway.
Second off, make sure said webcam is configured properly. You'd probably have to into your Control Panel and make sure it's listed in the "Sound and Video" applet. You'll also probably need to make sure that it's listed in your web browser as well if need be. |
