Not sure where this fits in but I figured I would try it here.

So over the holiday, I started thinking about a friend that I haven't seen or talked to in a little over a year. We dated for awhile and things didn't work out but we still kept in touch sporadically. Anyway, I sent him a text wishing him a Merry Christmas because I didn't have a current address on him. Yesterday, I get a text back asking who I was. I replied, Terri, thinking that he must of deleted my number. The next thing I know my cell rings and its his number with his mom on the other end. He passed away last September and no one knew how to get in touch with me.

So, this one is for you Bob! (((((((((Bob))))))))) I'm sorry I let so much time slip by.

It's a lesson brought home. Never let to much time pass before saying hi to someone or just giving them a hug or whatever. He was only 41 and he's gone and I never got to say goodbye.
