Theres a lot of beautiful girls on here, but you do get some who think there better than really are.

That happens with guys too, and also in real life.
As with everything in life, you have to take the good, the
bad, and everything in between.

I have been told I think I am better then I really am. I dont think that is true at all.

I do believe in having self confidence. I am my biggest fan. If I didnt think I was great no one else would either.

I also think some of that attitude in people is just a cover or wall to prevent getting hurt again...

If anything, I would say I am the exact opposite. Anytime I get an e-mail from a guy saying I am beautiful or sexy or whatever the compliment may be, I tend to think he is full of it or must be blind!!!

Seriously, I am my own worst critic & often fail to see any of my good qualities, but I work daily on building a better me so I remain "humble with self respect"!

Even as a kid I was told I was "too nice", but I don't know
any other way to be. Even at times when it seems I'm taken
advantage of or taken for granted, I say I'm not going to be
so nice anymore, but I still do...can't help it. As for
compliments I hate to say I don't take them very well either,
not only do I not really see the "wonderfullness", but to me
vanity and conceit are two of the most MAJOR turn-offs for me,
whether it's in a partner or friend, so to me "image" doesn't
mean much unless it's positive and constructive. jmo

To be honest, yes, females are more guilty of it, not sure why?
Confidence is good and healthy, but not when it exceeds
to the point of being vain, shallow, and conceited.
