Do these work out?

Generally no, but as they say, anything is possible. You do always hear about how they work, so I guess if there's something you want, don't let anything stand in your way. IDK...

I guess it depends on both people involved.

I've been talking with someone from out of state, getting to know her. She seems like a really good woman, but the problem is I live in Ohio and she lives in Oklahoma. She message me about how much she liked what I wrote in my profile, just too bad we didn't live closer. But we decided we can still be friends at the least.

Figures, the good ones I find are no where near me, LOL

It's impossible to keep the "Internet Dating" thing going for long without actual physical contact. We as humans just aren't wired to where we can be happy with talking to a screen name for months on end.

On the "harder to get to know the person" statement, I don't agree. I think that when all you have is talk/phone you are forced to talk by situation if you want it to go anywhere.

that part of getting to know someone I agree with IF they talk privately enough and have schedules that permit that

I was thinking more of nuances - like does he wrinkle up his nose in the rain or throw his hands up when he doesn't understand, do his eyes follow me around the room? Does put butter on toast with his fork?

Ima very visual person so I need those visuals ... to really feel connectedflowerforyou
