Besides which most nations wanted to remove Saddam from power. An attack on Canadian soil you would do without any allies or support from anywhere. Not even the British would assist on that one.

America had a very small continental Army. The assualt on Wash came from an invasion by sea, and was all British Troops. British troops that were stationed in Canada were part of the force, but they were largely unopposed. A Hurricane caused the British to withdraw. They then went to New Orleans where Andrew Jackson led a Rag tag group of Volunteers and thoroughly kicked their ass. Get it right, if your going to tell it.

The no allies was meant taht US would have none. As I said everyone wanted Saddam out. Different story here. We are not threatening the security and stability of a region, nor are we making threats to attack anyone. In this case the US would be the belligerent.
