SCRANTON, Pa. - A man who claimed he had been trying to root out terrorists on the Internet was convicted Friday of plotting to help a supposed al-Qaida operative blow up U.S. oil pipelines and refineries.

A federal jury took only 90 minutes to convict Michael C. Reynolds of providing material support to terrorists and other charges.

That reminds me of the Congressman who was caught in the Abscam sting a few years back who said that he was just gathering evidence to expose a bribery attempt. I think he was videotaped gathering about $50,000 worth of evidence all in cash. Everyone in prison is innocent, just ask them. laugh

I want to stay on track here but it will be difficult. This guy needs to be in prison but he is not the only one. I believe that many people who give "lip service" support should be jailed too. For treason.

Terrorist, the excuse does not add up. Additionally what would qualify him as a person to weed out terrorist on the Internet? What would he have been able to do if he had met with actual terrorists?
Typically people involved in these type of operations are known to intel community and working with them, there is no record of this guy.
He is nothing more that a domestic terrorist with a greedy agenda of trying to pay his past due child support, which he probably would not have paid anyways.
Probably would have gone down to the new casinos just outside of Wilkes-Barre and blown it.

he does not have to be qualified

it is a matter of civic duty to protect

your homeland and fellow citizens

Actually he does have to be qualified, citizens are not allowed to break the law, which his actions were. Go out and buy drugs adj4u, get arrested and tell the cops you were trying to bust drug dealers, see what happens to you.
He has nothing to show his intent was truly to capture terrorist online.
Think this duck is a duck

it is not that he did it

it is that he did not inform the prober athorities of what was going

that is what makes him quity

if he was truly trying to avert terrorist actions as he says

when he was contacted be said terrorist

he should have informed the prober enforcement agency

citizens can fight crime

but they need to do it in concordance with the prober authorities
