Well, you could try talking to the entity in question.

Ask it if it can make a sound or say something to let you know it's there.

Try to take some EVP's (Electronic voice phenomenon) IF you have a digital recorder. (They do it on this show I like called ghost adventures It's on the travel channel on friday nights)

i try to watch that show but after about 10 minutes,i have to change the channel.every place they go,they claim is has a "demonic entity".i'm sorry but that is not the case with every haunted place there is and it ruins the "ghost hunting" aspect of the show.

paranormal state was the same way but thankfully that show got canned.

only one i watch is Ghost Hunters on Syfy (and no not Ghost Hunters International.they're as bad as Ghost Adventures).i also love Destination Truth on Syfy
