I love females that I can geek out with and talk nerdy to eachother. Of course physical attraction is mandatory, but I really need that intellectual stimulation.

That being said, I'm looking for someone I can go watch the latest movie with at midnight, and yet also be able to go to sports games together. Someone that I can playfully fight over who gets the first controller on any of my consoles, and who gets to be the bottom screen (games know what I'm talking about). Someone that would want to try to cosplay with, but also someone who'll doll themselves up to go clubbing and just look SEXY.

If that's you....or you fit some of that bill and want to make a new friend to expand your circle, send me a message through mingle. And if none of this applies to you, 1) why bother clicking on this thread if you read the title and 2) good luck on your search. ^_^

maybe reality hasn't hit you yet but the geeks, dorks, nerds are not going to be sexy that's why they're geeks, dorks, and nerds.

maybe those dorks, geeks, and nerds think they're sexy but in reality they're not. trying to change the meaning of a deterogatory word not only defeats the purpose of using those words but it also renders those words to be misleading and incorrect.

if the op wanted a smart chick who is also sexy, he shouldn't use the words nerds, dorks, and geeks.

aye, but you both are wrong lol.

Everyone knows the saying "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder".

That same statement applies here. Maybe someone(s) thinks the nergy, geeky, dork look is sexy. From their perspective that look works well.

Someone being "beautiful" or in this case "sexy" is all purely on a perspective level. There is no absolute guide line on what is sexy. One person may think someone(s) is sexy, while another doesn't.

Being sexy and being nerdy are not mutually exclusive. If you're offended by those words then that's on you but there are plenty of us out there that are proud to be nerds, geeks and dorks.

i never said those words offended me. those words were devised to be offensive and not something to be proud of. if you're proud to be called something that's derogatory just because you think you're on the inside of that "club" then by all means but it doesn't change the meaning of those words just because you place a positive spin on it.

actually, there are characteristics that are deemed "sexy" and "attractive" with widespread agreement and it's not just in the "eyes of the beholder." beauty, sexiness, and attractiveness are all social constructs and have been determined by society so it should actually be "beauty is in the eyes of society."

Incorrect, just because "society" or a specific "person(s)" deems something/someone "sexy or beautiful" doesn't mean that it's fact. That just means that society or person(s) think it is. That doesn't automatically make it that way for each and every person though.

So if you wish to get really technical about this, at the very most it could only be deemed as a "theory" rather then a "factual" statement. And a theory is nothing more then an educated GUESS, and that is influenced by that person(s) perspective. So again, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Is it fact that blondes are beautiful or sexy? One may say yes, but another may say no. So thus it is purely perspective.
