Topic: As I Lay Dying...

Would you lie next to me in the dark? Would you stay with me? Would you wake me from my sleep? If I was dying would you breathe life into me? Would you share your dreams with me.... As I lay dying? I can feel your breath on my neck. The tears on my cheek. I can hear you weep. I can feel your heartbeat pulsing through my chest. I feel your warmth through my soul.... As I lay dying.... Dead.

Its a poem I created a while back about how love makes one's heart beat with fear, or excitement in finding that special someone, and thank you, as long as people enjoy it, I will continue to post more of my poetry on here :)

very very good poem it reminded me of a fav song oldy i like by tanya tucker called two sparrrows a very good poem i enjoy readign what you write
