On The Beach Alone

I sit here all alone on the beach
and sadly there is no woman with me
im just a lonely handsome brazilian man
starting a new life here in america
as i sit here on daytona beach
no one is within my reach

i listen to the music of the beautiful water
and birds expressing themselves when they sing
so much wonderful joy their music can bring

still i think to myself is it possible to find love?
do women all want a man to physical beat them
is that their american dream?
maybe one day my love can wake up with me

i smile as a tear of sadness falls from my eyes
when all i ever wanted was love
i guess it will never be my surprise

ive never been in love before and i am 28
maybe some day my life will be great
still i believe there is hope in finding love
until then i will be here at this beach
finding love is the only thing i seek
