The evidence in the cattle mutilations is ...duh, the mutilated cows for one thing.

The witnesses for another, who didn't hear a thing while their livestock (some of them) were mutilated just outside their window while inside of a pen. The circumstances for another. Like.... there was not enough time for insects to do their work on the bodies.

Making up stuff is what the investigators do in their lame attempts to come up with an explanation that fits into their view of reality.

Predators? Oh yeh, Right. Explain a buffalo being killed in his enclosure in a well guarded locked up Zoo! I suppose some insect killed it...

How soon after the mutilation of the Zoo's buffalo do you think it was discovered? Days? Nope. It takes days for the insects to do their work on the soft tissue. Not hours.

To declare these incidences "natural causes" is absurd and ignorant.

No, I take that back.... its a cover up.

I have more respect for science to say it is ignorant. So it has to be an intentional cover up.

I am not defining "Human." I am defining "Hu"

And I'm demonstrating that it has no relationship as a prefix to the word 'man'.

And saying "...some God named "Hu" is like saying "..some Hu named "God."

Hu was a minor deity in the Egyptian pantheon.

As far as the meaning of Hu, I got that from Wikipedia. You can agree to disagree with them if you like.

I'm not disagreeing with the Sufi pronoun or the existence of Hu in the Egyptian pantheon. I'm demonstrating that there is no relationship between 'Human' and 'Hu'.

I'll elaborate:

The Egyptian language and the Sufi dialects have semitic roots linguistically, whereas, Latin is Indo-Eurpoean. There is no liguistic correlation between the two words in any etymological sense.

Sounds like your opinion to me.

I disagree.

Everything is connected to everything else. To say that there is no liguistic correlation between two words is just guess work, opinion and speculation.

So, you have no idea and are just making this up, as proven by the Latin dictionary? Well, I knew that already.

Everything is connected to everything else. I have no idea where you get your opinions, but they are still just opinions. If you want to disagree with wikipedia, I won't think any less of you. I disagree with them often.

"Latin" is certainly not the only language in the world.

It sounds like this ranch is a veritable theme park for UFO 'enthusiasts', with many attractions including its very own Sasquatch!

Oh right, a theme part where no one is allowed to enter. Yes that makes sense. laugh

I see, metaphor and satire are beyond you.

That's correct. I have NO IDEA what you are talking about. You are not even on the same page or even in the same book most of the time.
To me, most of what you say is drivel.

But as I said, if you want to disagree with wikipedia, I won't think any less of you. I disagree with them often.

You are entitled to you opinions.

Not at all. Bad pointless metaphor, satire and sarcasm are just droll and boring.

The problem I see with you Hotrod, is that you come into this thread and attempt to discuss or make light of a topic you know nothing about dragging in your education as if it is the holy grail of all factual information in the universe, and as if what you know or have learned from your university is the gospel of gospels and the indisputable truth of all time.

And most of the time all you do is make cracks and fun of other people simply to amuse yourself. Well, news flash, I don't much like you either.

Well, of course it would sound like 'drivel' to you, you lack the understanding required, as demonstrated by your constant reference to the wiki article. If you read people's posts properly and refrained from jumping to half-baked conclusions, you might get a better understanding of what they're actually saying.

But as I said, if you want to disagree with wikipedia, I won't think any less of you. I disagree with them often.

It is this very statement that denotes that you have no idea of what I was trying to explain. So be it, it gets tedious trying to get simple concepts through to you. Revise my statements and stop passing bullsh*t judgements, as you are completely on the wrong track.

I see, metaphor and satire are beyond you.

Even though your response denotes it went over your head...I see.

No, I came into this thread pointing out an error in your etymology of the word 'human'. Your original explanation is still erroneous and it has nothing to do with wiki (there is no link between 'Hu' and 'Human' in the article), so get over yourself and try to stay focussed on what is actually being said and not what you believe is being said.

Now, think for a moment if you will. 'Human' is Latin in origin as far as scholarship can determine; 'Hu' is an Arabic pronoun used to denote 'Allah'. 'Allah' is the god of Islam...are you with me? Islam rose after 622 AD...ok? Arabic (a semitic dialect) was popularised throughout the region as a result of Islamic expansions...ok? The usage of 'Human' in Latin (an Indo-European language) predates the Arabic usage of the pronoun by over thirteen hundred years. Now is it clear? There is no etymological relationship between the Sufi pronoun in Arabic, and the Latin word 'human' as defined in my original post. I hope this clears this up for you.

And most of the time all you do is make cracks and fun of other people simply to amuse yourself.

Hey, if you can't laugh at other people, who can you laugh at? laugh

Well, news flash, I don't much like you either.

You've hit the nail squarely on the head there, Jeanniebean! I'd like to think that people will eventually wake up and open their eyes to what is going on around them, but I'm not sure when that will happen. People need to be able to see through the scientific dogma, government b.s., and confines of religious beliefs, and simply educate themselves to the current reality! The evidence is not only already here, it probably has been for thousnds of years or more, and may even be the reason we are who we are today! Is that significant? I believe it is!

Thank you. There are a lot of people who are well aware of what is going on around them and there are people who know, but work very hard to keep as many people in the dark as possible.

Others just keep those blinders on because they don't want to know.

To understand the difference between science and "Mystery Stuff", you have to understand the science first. You don't.

I understand science just fine. I recognize its boundaries.

Never in the history of the universe has a more untrue statement been made.

Seriously? In the History of the Universe? A little over board I think. You claim to have knowledge of all statements uttered in the entire history of the Universe? Very funny. And absurd.

I speak the truth. You seem to be inside of a box and perhaps you just can't see the boundaries. And here, you seem to be calling me a liar.

Why not just stick to the subject?bigsmile

I am thankful for this thread topic called Mysterious Phenomena & The Paranormal because in the past I encountered abuse and objections when I posted things in the Science and Philosophy threads and even in the religion threads I was pounded by certain denominations for my heretical ideas.

I do appreciate the people who stick to the topic and actually join in the actual discussion especially when they have some helpful information or personal experiences and ideas to contribute.

I don't expect everyone to agree with me, and I do enjoy intelligent and respectful discussion or arguments.

I just think people should not totally reject the idea that humans are not the only intelligent self aware conscious beings in the universe, and that we may not be alone in this galaxy or on this earth.

I have noticed that a lot of people actually get very angry at even the suggestion.

It's just a conversation.

I am in the "correct" and acceptable forum, am I not?

A lot of David Ickes research makes complete sense if you actually listen to what he says. He even makes shape-shifting sound plausible. i usually spend a lot of time on his site and listening to the stuff he does. Doesn't not mean i believe bull crap about the moon being hollow!

You make up bizarre statements and try to pass them off as the truth. You have proven in hundreds of threads that you make factual statements about topics (this or any other topic) about which you know nothing. There is no reason to think you know any more about cattle mutilation than you do about explosives at 9/11.

In this case, since you are claiming factual knowledge, your credibility is a major factor. Chances are you have never has anything to do with cattle mutilations in your life.
