It ain't THAT dirty.

Help me out here, gals.

And men. Have ya'll noticed that type of behavior?

What is the psychology behind women I invite for a meal, movie and sometimes sex seem to want to clean my house.

Is it some sort of nesting syndrome or is it like a dude pissin' out in the yard, marking his territory?

Help me understand.

some things don't need to be understood... if your getting a free cleaning too, why not? they offered, your not demanding...

Yeah, I've noticed this too. I've had girlfriends telling me that they feel anxious at my place because they don't know if I want them to do the dishes or the cleaning etc.

I think that it is a bit of a teritorial thing. It is also about them wanting to know if you just want them for sex I think. Anyway, some women just like to keep themselves busy around the house doing that stuff.

It is a weird thing because they will ask your permission to clean up a bit and you say to them that it's alright and you don't want to treat them like a servant and just to relax. They aren't happy with what they perceive as a dirty or untidy place though, so your choice is either to tell them that you do expect them to do it for you or you have to do it yourself to keep them happy. It's just part of that thing that women do where they try to change you and teach you not to be a lazy slob.

Hummm all I can say is the only time I would clean a guys place is to clean up a mess we had made.

Beyond that it's his place if it was really dirty I would suggest to stay at mine instead.whoa

I don't clean for a teritorial thing I have my own house....Besides I would not want someone come in and clean my place. They don't need to be snooping where they don't belong...

But now if they offer to mow my yard then heck yeah I will get out there and help them do it....And would help them do theirs if they have one.. But I don't expect anyone to clean around my house.

Well, yeah.
Sex is a goal.
Next time one starts in, I'll get her out one of theses and tell her to knock herself out.

I will say it......do you live in a place that needs a cleaning?

Not saying it like a negative thing....I am saying it like a man who lived solo for a long time.

It is easy to let things slide.

If you got a gal who is showing enough interest to want to improve the quality of your life and give you a better place to live in....what's the problem?

If I was you.....I would consider being grateful.

But....that's just me.

Take it or leave it....

I will ask this....If you don't want a woman attempting to make your life better.....what do you want?

I am grateful for the offer. I tell them they are there to relax and enjoy just hangin' out.

For me personally, I was raised old fashioned. Women cooked and cleaned, and men took care of handy man type jobs.
I'm all grown up now, but that early training left its impression on me, and the way that I show that I love someone is that I 'nurture' them.
This can be anything from doing the dishes, to mending a pair of pants.
I am a career woman, and independent minded, but am happiest when cooking supper and knowing that my man is comfortable, watching his sports program.

Ok...going to go crawl back into a cave now...sorry I'm sooooo old fashioned.

i agree here, but i also think it is more of a nervous energy type thing... once they get comfortable, they will relax and spend time with you...

Your inner world is a reflection of your outer world.

This reminds me of when I was at college years ago training as a mechanic and the tutor pointed at my disorganised workbench and told me that it was a reflection of the state of my mind.

Another time he caught me using mole grips and he shouted at me saying that if he caught me doing that again I would get them on my nuts.

Everyone was raised different. I was raised by my dad and brother. I learned that we all pitched in when it came to things around the house. There was no certain duty anyone had to do it was a team effort...

To this day I prefer a man that likes to cook and does not bother them to help clean up in the house as well as outside..

The only time I have actually cleaned a guys place was after we were together for quit a while and I was there waiting for him to get there and I was really bored lol....

But then he would help me out at my house as well it was all a team effort....

I'm one you help me out I will help you..

But I would never clean the guys place if it was just for the sex only shshsh.

Standards of cleanliness and hygiene differ dramatially between the sexes and among sex as well. Its a common error to assume ones peception of clealiness is the standard for others but sufficent experience with others will demonstrate the contrary. Try no to take it personally as if it is too bad they may not be willing to return...

Well geez, I can't imagine.
If it were so dirty that I had to offer to clean it,
I believe I would vacate the premises first.

Are they like, traveling with bleach or something?
