Honestly, when you are being hit on by guys do you constantly want to be flooded with compliments or would you occasionaly want to be teased with a bit? If someone goes off on how pretty you are and how great you are, are you not somewhat concerned? Either about their lack of self esteem or possibly the fact that their true goal is soley to get into your pants..

fyi.. it's great to throw an occasional compliment but in reality if you value yourself more aren't you going to tease the opposite sex and devalue them?

hmmm...i get a little embarrassed by a lot of compliments...i'd rather cut up and laugh with someone who's hitting on me. Much more comfortable that way. And if you can laugh at yourself, it's much sexier.

I think too many compliments just speaks volumes in terms of insincerity and you tend to think they're after something. It definitely makes me uncomfortable.

hmmmmmmm I'd be happy for a couple of compliments right now!

As for teasing- that can be fun or just plain mean. It works
both ways...

"devalue them" isn't that insulting though? You're right too much flattery is suspicious but that's why you need a medium and do just like 1 or 2 compliments.

i rarely give complements to women i want to meet and get to know. almost all the time the woman gets the same compelment like you are so beautiful. i tend to give praise to something that no man will think about like if she has a nice pair of jeans id be like wow you have some fashion sense bout time some women in style. and for teasing its odd how you women bash on my thread about teasing a woman now you say its ok? wow.. but yea i tease women but its about small things..
