Obviously, I didn't believe it, because of the source, here. Cripes, SS. Do you ever get anything right?
A quick Google search shows, among the right-wing bloggers mirroring the dreck, several pages, including Snopes.com that discredit it. Too many misstatements to list here, but every one of the "50 threats" are either exaggerated, misinterpreted or flat-out wrong. If you just have to read it, Congressman David Scott went through the trouble of humoring the list as a serious inquiry in this PDF. Enjoy. |

Just figured out the OP's list is way out of date, referring to HR3200, which died in committee in 2009. HR3590, which went on to become law, still doesn't have the "50 threats" and the numbering and pagination is completely different. For example, H.R. 3200 has 2,454 pages & H.R. 3590 has 906 pages.

Seems to me like the GOP is fighting tooth and nail to try to stop Obamacare.
They are afraid....very afraid...that people will see that it is really beneficial and will like it. Senator Cruz and others are moving the GOP farther and farther to the extreme right. They are going to have a very hard time winning the White House in the future if they keep up with this strategy...some of them know this. |
