Since you're the one thinking about your ex, I can only assume she was the one that broke up with you and it wasn't mutual. I just don't understand why it bothers you so, that she is now with an older guy?
Surely you cannot be that insecure?

Perhaps it's time for you to move on to greener pastures and forget about your ex altogether.

I certainly wouldn't pine over anyone that was not interested in me period! I would cut my losses and move along. Life's too damn short to waste on others that are not prepared to invest themselves in you.

Good luck!

yeah, you're right of course. Its just difficult to get over a 2 year relationship in 2 weeks... Thanks anyway.

Only 2 weeks, so the feelings of hurt are still very fresh. Give yourself a little time to heal.
Having gone through many relationships of my own over the years, I know what you're going though.
That been said, time does heal ALL wounds and you WILL find yourself in a much better place and soon this feeling you currently have will all be a distant memory.
Hang in there.

2 weeks is short, yes, but then again, you're on a dating site yourself as well.
Just give yourself time to get over it and find your feet again. And kind of logical it will hurt to see her with someone else this soon.
Try to bear in mind that she can do whatever she wants to, even though it hurts you, and that this doesn't mean that your relationship was pointless. That was the bit that hurt me the most when I found out my ex had someone else almost straight away: made me feel that our relationship hadn't meant anything. Of course that's not true, it's just that the other person is further in the process of letting go. And maybe the other person can't be alone.
If you take your time to get over it properly, you are the one who's doing the smart thing!
Doesn't mean it won't hurt now though. It'll take time.

I know how you feel. I've had ex girlfriends going with guys that were older, or fat, or not as good looking.

I know nothing about your relationship with your ex but it's possible that she dumped you for a different sort of guy because she thought that you were too much into yourself and how you look. Maybe she thinks that this older guy is a safer option. Some guys choose to not date very hot women because there's too much competition and they are supposedly more likely to cheat on you. Some women might feel the same about pretty boys and bodybuilder types.

Since when are looks the most important thing?
Plenty of women judge a man by his character.

that's bad. same prob here, but not an older man though. worst is the man is my friend whom i trusted my whole **** with... kinda having the same type of problem that bothers me every single night..cant stop thinking about her. how is she today? did she ate her dinner? is she okay when traveling from work to home?.. but mines kinda 6 years relationship.. same here 2 weeks from now. i know its kinda hard that you have done all the craziest things for her, but yet it's still not enough for her.   just having a hard time here of letting her go. i just want the best for her. i just want to know if she's safe.......

Give yourself some time.
If I see my ex with a guy, I say a small prayer for him. He'll need all the help he can get.
You will get past this.

sorry I can't agree with your 'solution' .... doing anything out of spite or to try and cause jealousy is a no win situation. Personally I just don't get the dating too young or too old thing, it just doesn't look good are rarely work out. Old dudes with young girls by their side only look like desperate sugar daddies and the girls look like opportunists with a daddy syndrome.
IMHO, those who feel the need to date way outside their age difference have deeper issues.

Sorry, you're going through this hon.
but she has clearly moved on.

Only thing you can do is wish her well, and work on yourself.
Make yourself a better prospect for the next relationship.

Cry, write a poem and/ or an angry letter... do what you need to do to purge the pain of the ex.

That is a load of rubbish sorry. i have dated younger men and the first things that are important to me isnt how long have you been alive! My last guy was my age and believe me he was the most immature and childish guy i have ever had the misfortune to meet

Of course you are entitled to your opinion just like everyone else. Opinions are like a**holes , everybody has one!
My comment was merely to state that IMHO it looks 'desperate' and somewhat 'immature' when there's a big age difference either way.
