Just don't open any attachments, I mean if you swap email, never click on any links that they send either, they're the worst thing for viruses

Agreed..they are all over the place on this site, that being said, a little common sense goes a long way! I keep getting these messages from these 20 or 30 something pretty gals....Well with me being as old as I am, I know they are fake....why would a 20 or 30 something be interested in a man old enough to be her dad?...Just use your head!!!

Girls that young talk to me that aren't scammers. Admittedly I usually contact them first. There's about the same likelyhood that women half my age will talk to me on here as middle aged women. Same likelyhood that they might be interested in dating me or only wanting to chat.

The last time someone scammed me was last night. He asked me for my e-mail address in only the second message. I smelt rats straight away, and told him I wasn't gonna be able to give him my e-mail address so soon. Honestly, they'll try just about anybody. And I'm only posting about this, because if he reads this, it's to show him I don't take fools on board. I blocked the idiot.

I have never been scammed in 5 years.
And I have to open ALL email, with NO filters
as a moderator.

As StormMessages said 'There are men and women
scam artists everywhere.
Discernment is key.'

So, simply pay attention..if you even think
someone might be a scammer, report them on their
profile immediately.

And you are right, the 'Let's go to Yahoo to chat'
is a HUGE red flag.

So is the structure of a sentence :-)
