Bittersweet. An excellent write steeped in the tragedy of the sorrow of the loss of what seemed to be so real. I can relate. I can't tell you how long it took me to wash the case and get a new pillow when it happened to me. But, as sad as it is to lose what one thinks is real because it feels so, it but shows how beautiful the feeling will be when the one who will not leave will be more than the memory a scent in a pillow can bring, and in more joyous ways =^) Thank you for sharing.
