dogs are the greatest thing ever, i personally have a 7 year old doberman pinscher, she is the sweetest, smartest, most loyal dog i could have ever asked for. and shes such a beautiful dog, wish i had a pic on here to post. after owning this doberman, i dont think i will ever own a different dog breed after this, its going to be all doby's from here on out and once i get a big enough house i want to have a whole family of them. they are fierce and fearless protectors but at the same time are very loving and loyal companions, great with kids and with proper training are just a superb all around dog breed, i would recommend them for someone who wants a great family dog but also wants a good watch dog. people seem to think dobermans are vicious because of how they were portrayed in older movies and because some people train them to be vicious but as most of us know a dog isnt born any certain way, they are taught to be like that. that said dobermans have a natural protective instinct but when properly trained and socialized are amazing dogs. same goes with pitbulls, ive seen pitbulls that were raised right and they are some of the sweetest dogs you would ever meet, and i have seen pits that werent trained and socialized so well and they were pretty vicious, its all in the owner. its pretty funny as sometimes when i walk her some people will want to come right up and pet her, other people will literally run in fear to the other side of the street when theyre still a block away haha.

i miss when my dog was a pup she was so cute, she still is but nothing is as adorable as a puppy. i didnt crop my dogs ears, i did dock the tale tho, so she still has the floppy ears. makes her look more friendly with the floppy ears.

Here in Oz it is illegal to crop the ears and has been for as long as I remember....so to us it looks weird...

yea i have heard some places outlawed the ear cropping, they look bad *** with them cropped. i originally was going to get them cropped but decided against it. im starting to get nervous tho, i just noticed earlier today she has a slight like lump on one of her front legs under the skin, it feels like a small bubble under the skin. its not really hard but its not soft either, its bugging me out though i hope its not like a tumor or something

im going to have to take her to the vet to get it checked, has anyone else had anything like this on their dog? and if so what did it end up being? like i said its like a little bubble under the skin kinda where like her bicep is on her front leg? i dont know if its called a bicep on a dog im sure ya kinda get the gist of what i mean. i really hope its not a tumor, i would be devastated if i lost my doby.

Yep....I had two or three of those pop up on my dear departed pooch, they were just cysts and the vet did nothing....but get them checked out for sure man....he also got a lump on his face....sadly that was a cancer....

Bart...13 year old Rottweiler crossed with a Bull Mastiff...two weeks after this shot I had him put down...3 years ago now...

i just went and did some reading on it, from what they described i think its prolly a fatty deposit or a cyst but most likely not harmful, i will get it checked anyway though. thats a cool combo of a dog rotty and bull mastiff. my buddy loves rotty's he has 2 purebreds and they are awesome dogs, really sweet, but they HATE strangers and will pin u in a corner and growl at you if they dont know you, once you get to know them though theyre big babies!

i often wonder what a doby mixed with a rotty would look like, i might have to google that... that would probably be one hell of a guard dog though.

Hahaha...yeah he was the biggest softy....but he had a mean streak...he knocked my ex off the top of the stairs one day...hehe...and down the beach he liked to pin other dogs down in the surf....hahahaha

how do you copy and paste the pictures on here, i feel so stupid i used to be pretty smart with computers like i used to actually know how to do a little bit of coding and make programs, now i cant even paste a pic from a website on here hahaha... thats what happens when ya dont do something for a few years, tend to forget.
