yep used to get them and give them back in teenage days,70s and 80s,sorta like badge of honour or just a mark to let others know that you or her are already spoken for

I think I would feel that way too. I don't think it is something you really want to be displaying once you have a bit of maturity.

My ex hated it :/ Can't really blame him, but it's just something that happens. I don't always have that tendency with a man. Not sure what the trigger is, why I love to bite one guy and not another. Must say I don't bite really hard, not like you'd have a bruise. To me that's not a love bite, but a vicious bite. Mine are love bites. Prolly still firm, but don't think I ever caused a bruise. That's nasty, I'd hate myself for that!

My ex was into the whole biting, scratching etc while being intimate. Not my thing personally but she enjoyed it so I obliged for her.

I agree it was around more in the 70s and 80s. Very difficult to explain to the current girlfriend if you got it elsewhere, polo neck sweaters were the way to go until it faded.
