I would first, using a slide rule and a torque wrench discover through experimentation what conditions did Humpty experience prior to the unfortunate incident and what, if anything had made the outcome likely.
I would then blame it on an assistant and ask the cleaner to pick it up, along with the results of all my experimentation and put them in the bin. Humpty's family will be pleased to note we are working around the clock to ensure that should other incidents occur there will be someone to blame immediately.  He was pushed off and murdered. thank god he died instantly, They never found the cold harden killer. I think it was the Easter bunny.

I learn something new here everyday,I swear,never knew humpty was an egg
