Investigative journalist Sharyl Attkisson has done it again. She has exposed more dirty deeds pertaining to the Fast & Furious scandal.
Here is an excerpt from a post on Attkisson's website: Lesson in how the administration attempts to manipulate the press and news coverage: Fast and Furious email to Attorney General Eric Holder from a communications adviser, Oct. 5, 2011 [emphasis added below]. (President Obama withheld this email under executive privilege but it was recently released as a result of a lawsuit filed by Judicial Watch against the Justice Department). p. 733 Matthew Miller to Attorney General Holder: 1. Send a letter to the Hill explaining what happened. Put in context the amount of information you get every week, say that you don't recall reading those bullets or being aware of Fast and Furious at any time before early this year, but in any event, you certainly weren't aware of the gun walking aspect of it until the news broke earlier this year (at which point you took immediate steps to have the IG investigate, etc.). Could it be that Holder resigned because he knew that the above-quoted information would come to light? * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Speaking of scandals, I have been a hunt for the origin of another scandal that has been associated with President Obama, one that continues to be alluded to occasionally. The scandal dates back to 2006 and was reported by the Associated Press in February of 2008. Here is an excerpt from that 2008 AP story: WASHINGTON �- A photograph circulating on the Internet of Democratic Sen. Barack Obama dressed in traditional local garments during a visit to Kenya in 2006 is causing a dustup in the presidential campaign over what constitutes a smear. The Associated Press photograph portrays Obama wearing a white turban and a wraparound white robe presented to him by elders in Wajir, in northeastern Kenya. Obama's estranged late father was Kenyan and Obama visited the country in 2006, attracting thousands of well-wishers... ... Obama, in an interview with WOAI radio in San Antonio, Texas, said voters are "saddened when they see these kind of politics." "Everybody knows that whether it's me or Senator Clinton or Bill Clinton that when you travel to other countries they ask you to try on traditional garb that you have been given as a gift," he said. The nations of Somalia and Kenya share a border, and there are ethnic Somalis living in northeastern Kenya. When then-Senator Obama visited the ethnic-Somali region of Kenya in 2006, locals there gave him a gift of traditional Somali clothing, which Obama tried on. An AP photographer took a photo of Obama wearing the traditional Somali garb. That photo is the subject of the above-quoted AP story. You may be asking what is so scandalous about Obama wearing traditional Somali garb while visiting a community of ethnic Somalis. The answer is this: Nothing! So, the next time that you see this photo ...  ... you will know that it is merely a photo of Obama trying on traditional Somali garb. The claim that Obama is wearing Muslim garb in the photo is a false claim. If, for some reason, you believe that false claim, then please explain the following photo:  The above photo was taken while President George W. Bush was in Hanoi, Vietnam in 2006. In the photo, Bush is wearing a Vietnamese 'ao dai' silk tunic. The people of Vietnam gave the tunic to Bush as a gift, and they wanted him to try it on. The Vietnamese are Communists. So, if Bush was photographed while wearing traditional Vietnamese garb, then does that mean that Bush is a Communist? |

if some deem world leaders as communistic, than it would seem it would behoove the peoples to create a good reason for leaders to not want to become even more communistic...
i am sure calling them communist will make them hate and seek to defend against their haters even more, hence than creating more so called communistic reactions into existence... communist at root simply seek to protect them self from threat... so whomever accuse them is a threat... and what shall this create... a larger defense apparatus against threat... accusers apply self defeating logic, hence creating all the more of all they them self are complaining about in the first place. those first believing some are communist, create more people into becoming more the communist. for if Hitler was a "communist", what made him communist... he accused the "jews" of being a "threat"... or did the jews first access hitler as the threat... hum... but that which is in position of governance, is the one hired and in position to devise and employ defense against threats... so when people accuse leaders of being a threat, what shall occur... and are not these who accuse them self doing the same as hitler, accessing another "group" of people as a threat... the "communist" are the "threat", the evil group... the government is the "evil group", the threat... so than we have millions and millions and billions of little hitler mentalities, all running around deeming "other" groups as "threats", as the "evil one's"... so will not people whom govern see and hear this violent rhetoric and tendencies of all these little hitlers in the massess, and seek to protect these little hitlers wanting to join together and becoming big hitlers... and so build defenses to counter such existential threat to them self... people are people... they all equally want the same thing... for others to not access them as a threat because of what they like or want or enjoy them self. the most thing ALL want, is to NOT have violence perpetrated against THEM SELF... to NOT BE considered a threat, wrong, idiots, stupid. mocked, jeered, physically harmed for perusing their own individual wants... so how are all these who seek to create millions of others to access Mr Bush as an evil or violent man and so a threat, not the most communist them self... the only one's i heard Mr bush access as threats, are what first accussed him as being a threat, and trying to implore many to see him as one, and even trying to bring physical forces against... hum... who is really FIRST perpetuating all this hate and aggression, all too familiar from previous history... and what each time in history was created... it is always the FIRST to accuse, who be the igniter of hate and aggression, the fuel for war and strife. |

My OP in this thread and the OP in my thread Thoughts About Obama's Presidency are a couple of my blog posts from the website Wizbang. See here and here. I wrote those posts as a way of responding to a false claim about President Obama that was made by another writer at that site, the false claim being that President Obama is a Muslim, which he isn't. I couldn't directly challenge that other writer, who wants people to believe that the photo of Obama in traditional Somali garb is "evidence" that Obama is a Muslim. So, I found away to indirectly challenge him. The same is true for my other recent OP. I wanted to give Wizbang's readers evidence that the Obama-is-a-Muslim claim is fiction. I have made no secret my disdain* for Obama's presidency. Yet, I won't remain quiet when I know that someone is promoting a false claim about Obama's personal life. I repeated my aforementioned blog posts on this site because I believe that some of the Obama-haters here need to get the same messages. As I say in Thoughts About Obama's Presidency, "While I say "No" to Obama-worship, I also say "No" to Obama-hate. I refuse to drink either the Kool-Aid or the Hateraid." Who cares what his religious beliefs are? We have a 1st amendment protecting them. I agree with what you say about the 1st Amendment, and the U.S. Constitution forbids a religious litmus test for public offices. Still, a false claim about Obama has been made, and a false claim is wrong regardless of who it is made against. |
