I've had the BSOD twice within 4 days ..
After the second time (last night) asked my neighbours bro to come over, he's got his own company in computer business. Within 1 minute he knew what was up: HD
Great.. I've had my fair share of things breaking down since August last, why not add more to it! Thank god HDs aren't that expensive, but still...
He's gonna order me a new one tonight, it will be in tomorrow or the day after, he'll build it in for me, no charge.
Hopefully my PC won't crash no more till then! Always freaks me out :/

And no pc and internet... well, I don't ever feel lonely, but I think I would start to feel pretty danged lonely without!
---> With my neck injury, being on the PC / online is the only thing in life I can do 24/7. I can't do other things all day long cos of my neck, can't even read without using a book stand thing, so my pc and internet is just very bluddy important to me!

Fingers crossed my pc will survive till the new HD is in!!

Fingers crossed ... making an image of my HD, storing it on my external HD. It's been busy with that for hours and hours and hours ... Now it's at some 90% and it's starting to whinge about the damaged sectors on the HD that it cannot read.
My friend told me about that, just click "ignore".. which I've done now, but I do hope it's not gonna crash, not now that's it's almost done!!

damaged sectors are common. Just deleting a file and the computer looking for it would cause that. I just added a third HD to my machine. I have 2 SSDs (250 and 500g) and one HDD(500g) all internal on my machine.

I think the 2 disks you mentioned are to boost the speed mostly?
He suggested I do that as well, but I haven't got the money for that at the mo ... Had too many things break down on me the last 4 months .. the last two years actually ..

Was this to me in reference to my SSDs? Yes they boost speed such as boot time, load times, install times, etc. I disabled the "windows is starting" screen on my OS because my pc finishes booting faster than that animation. I am a gamer so speed matters. The 250 was my first one and has my OS and some games but I filled it up. Bought the 500g SSD on black Friday. The other 500g HDD is my original HD from 08. I just that for just storage if I have videos/music/pictures.
