Women don't really want to resort to lesbianism. They only do it because they've had some bad experiences with men. Don't you think it is strange how in every lesbian relationship one will act the role of male and the other will just be herself? It is all very silly.

i can understand gay women more than i can understand gay men...

The answer is simple. I've known a lot of lesbian and bisexual women, and the reason they do whatever they do is identical to the reason why anyone does anything: that's what they enjoy.

The idea that women (or men) "resort" to homosexuality because of having a bad time with things heterosexual, is 99% nonsense.

What is most commonly true when someone says something like "I started sleeping with other women because the men around me were such poor quality people," is that they are resisting admitting to themselves that they are homosexual by nature, and want to blame their behavior on everyone else.

I've witnessed a transition for several women as they discovered their own nature. Several of them went through a stage where they tried very hard to make a go of things as a heterosexual woman (for the sake of fitting in, and pleasing parents and other authorities), and since they didn't enjoy male company sexually at all, they at first wanted to think that men being jerks or smelly or whatever was why they were "forced" to turn to women.
