OK so I have a calico, she is absolutely adorable and indifferent yet clingy. But she is also so weird it disturbs even my vet. She enjoys licking things that smell good...like deodorant,or your hand after you put lotion on. She throw's her voice to make it sound like other cat's are growling or meowing. It's amazing but also really confusing. And she chases invisible gnomes - . -. Maybe they're not gnomes, but they're invisible and she chases them. Is it just my cat or is this level of weird normal?

All cats are unique. I assume since you have a female calico that that you know male calicos are very rare.

I had a cat that looked like it was chasing something and was very hyper. She would sort of move her paws back and forth like she was trying to grab something on the floor.

Interesting creatures cats areflowerforyou

O-O yeah...calico's are usually rather fickle...luckily mine loves me so I'm safe. Otherwise she'd abandon me like a toy she got bored with

well chasing nothing is better than not chasing anything.

my last cat actually laid in the middle of the living room staring at the mouse that appeared in the house one night and never movedgrumble

All cats are weird, but your cat seems to be bored if she's chasing invisible things.

She a kitten isn't she? The licking she's just curious, it's kinda the same thing that a human baby does, exploring with their mouth.

My cat eats dirt. I guess there's minerals in it that they crave or something. IDK, my cat is a weirdo though, even for a cat.

My old cat would lick my salt lamp. It was made of real salt, even the dog would lick it.

My cat throws himself at you, has a little "jazz hands" dance, walks on his head, loves being outside even in 20 below weather, rain, snow, sunshine, he don't care. He's a very playful and curious cat and can be a great house or a wild outside cat whenever he wants.

So you see, cats are just plain weird, that's one of their selling points though. lol

you keep dodo away from my cat:angry: laugh

and no cutie it wasn't a coma. i only found 2 toys she would play with breifly-- a catdancer and a laser pointer and not more than a few minutes at a time.

cosmo convinced me to never try adopting an adult cat.

now if they adopt you its ok
