To me, I see most people just settle down for a 3day relationship, one night stand, or just a fling. true love does not exist nowadays, and its so frustrating not to be able to find real love. what do y'all think about this current situation? :(

I have to agree with Loretta(sp) it looks like theres more lust than love, its very rare to have what our grand parents had because they did it for the right reasons. Today's life is too fast and too materialistic. My opinion....

Quite true....but not necessarily applicable for all....still there are people who loves from heart....it's difficult to get the real love coz it's difficult to sense the real love....our perceptions about people are generally based on their looks & behaviours...we seldom get to know someone really well.

If one is really looking for the real love...I guess they should keep their own choices somewhat apart & should try to listen & understand other's feelings about them....generally ONE who really loves us is purposely being around us and caring about us.

Interesting question. I am not sure I fully understand what love is but so far I would call it something like "I do not want a future without this person in it"

I think maybe love has got all mixed up due to the constant bombardment of images and commercials that are always selling you "the dream". Like a photo in peoples heads of what happiness and love looks like, but its worth remembering that if you are looking at the picture you are outside of it.

I think maybe a lot of people might have better luck if they are actually "in" their lives rather than in their own heads looking at a picture taken by someone else and wondering why they can't step into it.

Find people you enjoy spending time with for whatever reason (a tough enough task as it is) and just enjoy it for what it is without the pressure of a final destination would be my philosophy
