I was struggling earlier in my life and I choose the dog's food over mine."Mercy of the beast is blessed by the lord".Two days later I hit 500 bucks in the daily lottery, true story.Even today many years later I keep two containers of dog food stored in case it happens again. Great thread Idea Same here..in bad times, the pets always eat, even if I had to go without. I think this is normal, they are our babies and we are responsible for them. Seems simple to me.

Feed the dog...fatten him up...find some fire and eat "hotdog".... ...ok...not so funny... ...I would share what I had with the dog...best friends to the end...

I'll feed my animals, BEFORE I worry about feeding me. Or, buying non necessity items for anyone else.

Seriously, if I had to choose, my dog would get the food. He depends on me, and is my responsibility. If he was made to go hungry, he wouldn't understand why. All he would know, was that I had suddenly turned on him, and was no longer being his best friend. I couldn't do that.

my cat is really cool, shes always laying by my side,, shes so smart,some times she gets on the computer and sets me up with a date,,LOL
