I took a load of photo's, re took a few too and edited a few towards the and of the week( in camera) I used a card reader to connect the card to the laptop and it will not open unless'en i format the said card with the risk of loosing all images on the card ! I have seen the images and find myself most confused , befuddled and totally discombobulated as to how to recover...I'm not trusting too much on line sites?!? Please could anyone on here be kind enough to share with me, any constructive advice that I could take full advantage off in correcting this total head ***...Thank you in advance...Sx

try accsessing the card through start menu / computer / card

i norm attach the cable to my camara ... i never take the card and put it in the computer

and yeah you will prob loose the pics if you format the card

other then that i have not a clue : (

...no..you see the heads *** is now when i put card back in camera pentax k-x says "card is not formatted"...i very nearly formatted the card early on with this bollox..thanks for the shout.
