Going street rate is $20...

$10 if you find one jonesing real bad!

Before you say it, I used to work at a facility where these unfortunate women often found themselves.

And no, not a nudie bar!

Or you could just worry about paying your bills and find a girl who really means all the "walks on the beach, watching the sunset, fishing" stuff they write in their profiles.

You can't live on love.

But money alone is no substitute for love.

I think I'll take love with a modest but stable income.

money or love?

I would rather jump the guy that is standing around handing one or the other out to people and take his Uhaul trailer full of money and love.

 I think we've done EVERY post on here a few weeks ago!

Is it possible we have redundantly discussed every imaginable topic there is?

It's not only possible, it's completely true.

are deep in love.

you need both.. everyone knows that.

You can't just live on love. Try telling your mortgage bank that you can't pay the mortgage.. but on the bright side, you deeply in love.

See where that gets you

Ain't got no mortgage so I'll take the love! And the banker can kiss my gluteus maximus (emphasis on the maximus).

I think everybody is missing the point. I don't think the thread is posing the choice of living in a tree with clothing made of leaves... OR LOVE.

It is asking if having more money than you need, enabling you to amass material goods, giant house with space you don't use or need, high end automobiles, etc., OR LOVE.

Actually he didn't really specify his point. He asked a very vague question open to interpretation.

^^^and that is not my point...

I am stating that the the "money OR love" question itself does not imply that choosing love over money means a couple is surviving in the wild on berries and acorns. The question DOES ask if material gain through the presence of COPIOUS amounts of money is more important than having a loving relationship when choosing a mate.

Sure, we'd all choose to have a relationship with someone who is too pretty/handsome for us, has the perfect physique, hair, and teeth, is wealthy, exotic, makes us laugh every minute of every day while we dash about from one extravagant restaurant and activity to another and is outrageously and passionately in love with us.

Probably not going to happen...

Simply, would one rather have a loving partner in a humble home where your utility bills are paid and you drive a honda OR a "roommate" situation in a posh home where your every material desire is fulfilled and you drive a mercedes?
