.... when you do someone wrong..
are something wrong...

. how quick are you to offer up an apology for your actions..?..

.... do you apologize immediately.?

..... or do you wait for things to cool down then off one up..

.... are do you never apologise at all.?.

... are you the type of person that feels.... that you don't owe anyone an apology for anything..hmm..

... or perhaps you're the opposite..
you apologize for everything even though it is not your fault..?..

.. or do you let the apology go for so long... that it then becomes awkward and hard to carry out...hmm..

..... personally.. I generally apologize as soon as I realize I made a mistake....

... or at least until somebody tells me I have made a mistake...lol..

..

I only apologize if I deem there was something for me to offer an apology. Timing always depends on situation.

I rarely apologize. I must have done a big faux pas before I even offer an apology. I don't like the idea of saying "sorry" for every little thing. If I did something to offend anyone and I feel that I was in error, I would definitely apologize. I just don't like throwing "sorry" around, the same way I don't like throwing around "I love you" unless I really mean it.

For the sake of peace, I use to apologise. Even if, it was the other person in the wrong.

Not so much anymore.
There are very few people, that I'd ever consider apologising to. Even if, I screw up big time.

F' 'em. bigsmile

I am more than willing to apologize for mistakes I've made. I'll even apologize for making someone else feel badly, even if I meant what I said.

Apologizing doesn't make you weak. Having the decency to admit that you were wrong and apologize takes strength. Everyone makes mistakes, but not everyone apologizes for those mistakes.
Apologizing doesn't have to be admittance of guilt, or regret. If you've done something that hurt someone you care about, you can apologize just to let them know you care.

One more thing, Apologizing doesn't always mean that you're wrong and the other person is right. It just means that you value your relationship more than your ego.

If there is a heated discussion. Whether I am right or wrong I will say sorry.
Sometimes I am boiled over. I need to have time out but I always come back make a cuppa and say sorry.
Family and friends are important.
A little disagreement shouldn't kill the love you have for each other.
My mum said to me years ago don't let the sun go down on your anger.

Good topic to bring up young man.

If I think I'm wrong I apologize, always. Usually once I've had a think about I've said or done.

how quick are you to offer up an apology for your actions..?

Depends on what I think the consequences are and how likely I am going to be able to get away with it.

I mean there is a huge difference between hurting someone by breaking up with them in a "wrong" way (e.g. disappearing), breaking my boss's favorite mug in the break room, losing my temper and shouting racial slurs with the specific intent to hurt someone emotionally, or putting together some POS thing from IKEA my way and not listening to them.

.... do you apologize immediately.?

Sometimes.
Sometimes I know an immediate apology will not be accepted or effective.

do you wait for things to cool down then off one up..

Not really.
Although sometimes that's how things work out.
Sometimes I don't even realize that I was wrong or what the problem is until after things "cool down."
Sometimes an apology needs to be accompanied with a gesture for it to have any semblance of truth and sometimes that needs to wait.

.... are do you never apologise at all.?.

Sometimes.
I don't apologize for things said via text or the internet. At least half of what is read is in the mind of the reader and has to do with their problems, not the typer.

And sometimes I will never apologize because it just doesn't matter, an apology won't make one iota of difference.

But as an absolute of never ever ever apologize in any way shape or form, I don't think a human being ever does that.

... are you the type of person that feels.... that you don't owe anyone an apology for anything..hmm..

I don't think apologizing is about owing something.

I try my best to never dissapoint anyone. However, obviously I make the odd mistake here and there. I normally wait until I feel the other person has calmed down. It's no good apologizing to someone who is stuck on angry or bitter.

op I don't hold back on apologizing... if I felt I hurt someone ...
and understand I may have ... but as I am older ... I think back to times when I was the only to apologize just to keep the peace ...when I felt I did nothing wrong ... now depends on the circumstances ... when I do ...

When I am aware that I have a need whether the other person thinks so or not I apologize..

I will also apologize if I am asked to and here is where it gets sticky.
For example someone recently told me I owed them an apology, I apologized and yet had to tell them even though I was truly sorry it hurt their feelings I had to stand by my decision.

When I do apologize I mean it and that is the end of it. I will not be anyone's marty... I will move on
