Sorry never heard of them.
Where is it?
What country are they close to?

This a huge planet. Just thinking about blows my mind.

Krakow is in Poland and Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic. On the other side of the world from you.

We have seen a few movies like that. Even the old ones.
Anne Franks dairy and other stories like that. Fiddle on the roof. Shindlers list. I have horrible dreams for weeks after that. The red coat on the little girl. Haunted me.
Very sad

Yes, also an excellent movie. I've actually visited a concentration camp, very strange feeling.

band of brothers is great!
i've visited lots of the sites of some of their battles, Brecourt manor, St.Mere Eglise,Carentan, and the dead man's corner museum which houses Winters' actual equipment!

as for the OP both are beautiful historic medieval cities sadly over run now by British stag parties and boozy weekenders, but both are worth visiting.

if you do go to Krakow, make sure you spend a day at Oswiecim, better known as the site of the Auschwitz concentration camps.

i have visited 3 concentration camps, and it doesn't get any easier visiting them, but to me, it's something you have to do just to get some small understanding of what happened in them.
they are very sad and eerie places but something i think most people should do just to pay respects if anything.
